A habit tracker that works offline, with no account

You pick the day you are going to start, and then the app asks you to create an account, confirm an email and accept a cloud you never wanted. This page is about the other kind: an app that runs on the phone already in your hand, keeps the record on that phone, and asks for nothing before you begin.

What "works offline" actually means here

The app is a single page you open in your browser and add to your home screen, the same way you would install any other app. Everything it holds — the habits, the streaks, the photo proof, the body log — is stored on your own device, not on a server we run. There is nothing to fetch, so there is nothing to lose when the signal drops.

The practical version: a commute with no bars, a flight, a hospital corridor, a place where the wifi asks for a password you do not have. The minute still runs and the day still saves.

The test that settles it

Do this before you trust it, and do it once:

1. Put the phone in airplane mode.
Not with the browser closed — with the connection gone.
2. Open One Minute Magic from your home screen.
The page should appear without asking the network for anything.
3. Start the minute, tick the habit, take the photo.
If the timer ran and the day saved, it works offline. That is the whole test.

What "no account" means, in plain terms

There is no sign-up and no password.
Nothing to verify, nothing to remember, nothing to reset.
An email is asked for in exactly one place.
If you want a launch place, we ask where to send the code and the ebook — that is what the address is used for.
There is nothing to cancel.
The app does not run on a subscription, so there is no renewal date to forget and no card held.

The honest limit

Two things follow from having no account and no cloud, and both are real. The only clock the app has is your phone's own, so someone determined could change it — the record is only ever as honest as the person keeping it. And the record lives on that one device: clear the browser's stored data, or lose the phone, and the history goes with it. The app carries Export and Restore for exactly that reason.

That is the trade. Nothing of yours sits on anybody's server, and the only copy to look after is the one you can hold. If what you want is a habit tracker that syncs your streak across your phone, your tablet and the web, this is not that app, and it will not pretend to be.

Questions

Does One Minute Magic work without internet?

Yes. The app installs from your browser and runs from your own device, so a habit, a photo and a streak all save with no connection.

Do I need to create an account?

No. There is no sign-up and no password. The only time it asks for an email is when you ask for a launch place, and that email is used to send your code and the ebook.

Where are my habits and photos kept?

On your own device, in your browser's storage. They are not uploaded to us, and we keep no server copy of them.

One thing you would change?

If this guide helped, or it lost you, tell me one thing I should fix or add. Four taps, no login, about thirty seconds — and it ends with a printable one-page week sheet either way.
